Hello,
My company, Gravity College Inc. (gravitycollege.com) went live in BETA about a week ago. We spent the past year digitizing (hand tracing) over 1,000,000 miles of USGS trails, indexing them and making them fully searchable. Users can create routes, see distances, elevation profiles and a proprietary difficulty score for every trial in the USA. Using a Google Earth plug-in, visitors can "fly through" every trail in 3D. The live BETA site only has 40% of the full functionality planned. We also plan on continuing our "trail tracing" until every trail in the world is traced.
