Sante Fe 400th Anniversary
  Started at Fri Aug 14 16:23:34 2009
Santa Fe, New Mexico 1610-2010

The Santa Fe 400th Anniversary will commemorate 400 years of culture from the establishment of the city as a "villa" in 1610 by the Spanish, through today. Proudly that makes them the Oldest Capital City in the United States!

A visit to Santa Fe is like stepping out of time to a place where past and present merge seamlessly: Centuries-old adobe buildings, housing contemporary art galleries and world-class restaurants. Ancient traditions of hospitality enhanced by modern amenities. A unique melding of Native American, Spanish and European cultures blending Old World style with a modern outlook. From its serene setting in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Santa Fe offers an unrivaled mix of culture, history, art cuisine and scenery. You'll find the City Different to be unlike any other destination in the world.
