Some timely information about the greening of snow sports:

Protect Our Winters (POW) is a tax exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to reversing the global warming by uniting the winter sports community and focusing collective efforts towards a common goal.

How to Go Green: Skiing and Snowboarding - Skiing and snowboarding are seem to be sports that would naturally go with being green.
